Fire! Camera! Action! Go!

photoshoot

Mid January the bike was ready, and it was time for our first photoshoot. It was cold but sunny Saturday and Warleigh Weir near Bath looked like the perfect location to make some cool pictures, visualize the whole project and actually make some pizza out in the wild for a first time. I’ve packed the car with all the bits and pieces, picked up the Vice President of Margherita and fashionably late we arrived at the destination around 2 pm with only a few hours left of sunshine to get the pictures done.

After one more hour of mostly moving all the boxes and equipment the The Pizza Bike was put together and was ready to be photographed

I’ve started making the pizzas, Luisa took the camera and started making pictures of the art installation. We were basically racing with the sunset to get everything done on time.

Bake at 450 ° C for just about 2 minutes

I don’t know how we managed to do it (magic I guess) but just before the sunset everything was done and around 6 pm we left back for Bath with memory card full of pictures and half of pizza, but without the tripod who unfortunately was left behind 🙂 Not bad for a first photo shoot!
